About Notes2Slides
Notes2Slides is a free web tool that turns written notes into a PowerPoint (PPTX) or PDF presentation. It was created by Muhammad Amir, who works and studies in education, after seeing how much study time students lose on formatting slides and doing small tasks by hand.
Why Notes2Slides exists
Many students have good notes but little time. They spend an evening choosing fonts, aligning text and fixing slides instead of learning the topic. Notes2Slides removes that step: you paste or write your notes, pick a design and download a finished deck that you can still edit.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser
The slides are drawn on your own device. The PPTX file is created with the open-source PptxGenJS library and the PDF with jsPDF. Your notes and pictures are not sent to our servers.
Text stays editable
In the PPTX, titles and text are real text boxes and pictures are separate objects, so you can keep working in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote.
Who it is for
- School and university students preparing class presentations or revision slides.
- Teachers who want to turn lesson notes into slides quickly.
- Groups that need one consistent design for a shared project.
What it can and cannot do
The tool can arrange your text into slides, apply a template, place up to four pictures per slide, fit text automatically and export in two formats. It cannot write your content, check facts or add references, so please review your slides before you present them.
Our principles
- Free: no account, no payment and no watermark on your files.
- Private: your content stays on your device.
- Simple: you should not need instructions to use it.
- Honest: we describe what the tool does and does not do. If we show ads in the future, they will be served by third parties and will not change your files.
